Players have a new reason to dive back into Shadowlands content as Blizzard has officially enabled Legacy Loot for Shadowlands raids!
The War Within expansion opens the doors to farming transmog sets!
What’s Legacy Loot?
Legacy loot is a system that changes the way loot drops work in older raids. When an expansion becomes legacy, the loot rules shift to mirror those of a full party, even if you’re running solo. This means that instead of getting loot designed for 1 person, you will receive loot as if you were in a group, increasing the quantity and variety of item drops. With the introduction of Warbands, this is a great way of farming transmog sets, mounts, and other collectibles.
Players’ Reactions: A Mixed Bag
While many appreciate the chance to finally complete their transmog collections, the response has been mixed. Some players express frustration over the massive anima requirements that still exist for covenant-specific sets, even though the expansion is now considered legacy.
Sawaymar said: “I was hoping to get my characters in shape for the launch of the War Within, but with 30K+ anima needed for just one covenant, it feels overwhelming”.
Is It Worth the Grind?
With Legacy Loot active, now’s the perfect time to revisit Shadowlands and try your luck at getting some of the sets.
