Founders Can Play The Expanse: Osiris Reborn Beta Starting Today

Owlcat Games just announced that the beta for The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is going live today. If you are a founder and own either Miller’s Pack or the Collector’s Edition, you can grab your beta key starting at 4 PM CEST / 7 AM PT on the official site.

Keys will show up under the Digital Download tab once they go live, so make sure you are logged in and ready when the time comes.

What Is The Expanse: Osiris Reborn?

If you are not familiar with the game yet, it is a third-person action RPG developed by Owlcat Games, the studio behind Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous and Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader. It is set in the universe of The Expanse TV series and novels. The game will put you in the boots of a Pinkwater Security mercenary who survives a massacre on Eros Station and ends up on the run.

Osiris Reborn will focus heavily on narrative and player choice, with Mass Effect being a clear inspiration. Combat, zero-g movement, and companion relationships all play an important role. On top of that, the developers even had a former NASA pilot and ISS commander consult on the project to make the space physics feel authentic.

The beta includes a full mission set on the Pinkwater 4 station, so it is a proper slice of the game rather than just a quick tech test. The full game is still targeting a Spring 2027 release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, with a day one launch on Game Pass.
