After years of delays, studio closures, revivals, and plenty of uncertainty, Telltale Games finally brought the long-awaited sequel back into the spotlight during Summer Game Fest! Yes, you are reading this right, Bigby is coming back!!
The new trailer shows Bigby Wolf’s return and confirms that The Wolf Among Us 2 is now scheduled to release in 2027. It is officially not a maybe or leak anymore, it is real!
For fans of the original, simply seeing the game alive and well was probably enough to steal the show.
The Original Game Is Getting a Remaster Too
Telltale was not done with just the sequel announcement.
The studio also revealed The Wolf Among Us Remastered, giving new players a chance to experience Bigby’s first adventure before the sequel arrives.
The remaster is currently planned for Holiday 2026, so around a year ahead of The Wolf Among Us 2.
Bigby Wolf Is Finally Back
The original Wolf Among Us remains one of Telltale’s most beloved games, thanks to its darker take on fairy tale characters and its detective-noir atmosphere. That is part of what made the sequel’s long absence so frustrating for fans. For years, many wondered if The Wolf Among Us 2 would ever release.
Now they finally have an answer.
With a remaster arriving in 2026 and the sequel following in 2027, Bigby Wolf is officially making his return after nearly a decade of waiting.
