In an interview with YouTuber Destin, Blizzard developers said that WoW Forever’s Beta, which begins September 17, will initially be capped at Level 20, not 30.

In the interview, Destin, Associate Production Director Clay Stone, and Lead Software Engineer Nora Mills talk about WoW Forever and how the new game mode came about. Stone mentions that the Beta will start at a Level 20 cap, with the cap being raised to Level 30 after a couple of weeks. As it is with all Beta tests, progress will not carry over to WoW Forever’s launch, of course.
