It’s been a week of stabilization, as players have taken heed of the first week after tuning and have been implementing the new meta! The generalist bracket especially showcases this, as it’s lagging behind the top percentiles as usual, where Elemental has taken over! Let’s dive in.
Note: We are using normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it’s AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.
Mythic
Overall Damage 95th Percentile
Elemental takes over! The Enhancement nerfs and Ele buffs have taken their toll and we have a new king. It also seems we have a two class top 4, with the Rogues also ganging up, and Subtlety pulling away from Outlaw even further. 5th place also sees a change, with Frost Mage taking down Survival. We then have a stable four specs, as Fury, Destro, Assassination and Fire stay where they were, the Mage closing out the top 10. The two A’s of Augmentation and Affliction remain down in the depths, with Unholy closing out the bottom 3.
Overall Damage All Percentiles
Things are very different in the generalist bracket. Enhancement is actually moving up here, as it returns to No.1 and takes Subtlety down. The chart moves more slowly than the top percentile one, with the average player reacting to the great Elemental performance the week after the top players take it for a spin. And so we only now see Ele make its initial burst, 8 spots up into 3rd, pushing Assassination down. We may be seeing it on top next week! Fire Mage is also still rising, and moving much higher than in the top percentiles, claiming 5th from Destro after a 2 spot jump. Frost Mage takes down Outlaw, with Survival dropping down between them, as the Rogue closes out the top 10. Balance finds itself in the bottom 3 this week, as Affliction manages to claw its way out, at least for a while.
Boss Only Damage All Percentiles
The direct damage chart is very stable, with the top 5 remaining unchanged. Fire and Arcane move up into 6th and 7th, as Outlaw drops down significantly.
Heroic Damage All Percentiles
Survival bests Subtlety for 3rd here, as Enhancement rises one even after its nerf, also taking the Rogue down. Devastation and Windwalker move up a little, the Evoker gaining one spot and the Monk two.
