Detailed Breakdown
Venn released a detailed video explaining the strategy behind the solo kill for those looking to get some background information on how it was possible.
The player has around 18,000 Versatility (20K with the Vanus Rune) and Item Level 628 gear. For the first trinket, the player used 
Refracting Aggression Module and for the second trinket, they used 
Swarmlord’s Authority. The Death Knight explained further why they’ve picked the 
Rune of the Stoneskin Gargoyle rune.
The main difficulty of the fight comes from 
Savage Assault, the tank buster that does damage based on how much you mitigate, so the more you mitigate, the less you take. As a solo tank, you’re going to take these often, so it is very important to have a ton of Versatility and two trinkets that provide a heavy 50% damage reduction that scales with 
Vampiric Blood.
Venn noted the damage reduction cap on the trinkets is an absorb, and actual absorb will not reduce the damage of the dot.
Some important talents for this fight are 
Blooddrinker for 15% damage reduction, 
Rune Tap, which the player macros into a lot of other defensive because it’s off the GCD. They also took 
Umbilicus Eternus for some extra HPS. The Rune Carved Plates Heroic Talent allows the player to keep around 8-10% physical and damage % damage reduction up, and more.
