Looks like CN players are getting a head start in WoW Forever, and this time, it’s a CN exclusive that we don’t mind missing out on.
Forever is launching on CN realms with the Launch Supply Pack and the Launch Collector’s Annual Pass. Both of these bundles are designed around giving you a boost in the early game, offering quality of life and convenience items.
CN Exclusive Bundles in WoW Forever
For $19 The Launch Supply Pack contains the following, alongside a satchel of health and mana potions and food:
- 30 days of game time
- 10 slot bags x4
- Portable repair bots x30
- 12 slot bags x2
For $133 The Launch Collector’s Annual Pass takes things a step further, offering all items in the Launch Supply Pack (minus the game time) and the following extras:
- 365 days of game time
- Veteran Adventurer’s Expedition Tent (a premium camping tent accumulating rested XP four times as fast as a standard tent)
- Transmog set: Fisher Attire
- Gill’el pet
Usually, players around the world feel major fomo when CN exclusive items hit social media. However, this time it seems the majority of players will be glad to see these store packs stay exclusive to the CN region.
The CN version of WoW has a somewhat different approach to monetisation, with a stronger emphasis on limited-time premium bundles, regional exclusives and paid convenience features. While Western audiences are definitely no strangers to store items, there is generally more emphasis on earning rewards through gameplay rather than purchasing advantages.
