Some players anticipated a low demand for Shenhe, as she has long been considered a niche unit. However, her high pull rate is likely due to her long absence from banners, making her one of the most overdue five-star reruns in the game. Ganyu follows a similar pattern, having also been shafted in terms of recent banners, leading players who missed her previous banners to take this opportunity to pull her.
