Diablo 4 Unique Farming: Stop Salvaging, Start Printing Uniques

Don’t Salvage Your Commons Anymore

With the Horadric Cube in Lord of Hatred, most players are focused on re-rolling gear.

This tip for Diablo 4 Unique farming is one of the easiest ways to generate Uniques without relying on drops.

Common items can be upgraded directly into Uniques.

The cost is minimal:

One click, one random Unique of that item type.

You can turn Magic items into Unique attempts.

Step 1: Strip affixes (downgrade toward Common)

Each use removes one affix. Repeat until it becomes a Common item.

Step 2: Upgrade to Unique

Full loop:

Magic → strip affixes → Common → upgrade → Unique

You’re converting low-value drops into repeatable Unique rolls.

Here’s where this becomes very real for anybody running the new Warlock class.

A strong play is to gamble for a 1H Dagger, since that controls the item type.

From there:

This gives you repeated shots at dagger-specific Uniques like the Warlock’s new Litany of Sable.

If your base item is Ancestral, the result stays Ancestral!

That means:

Ancestral Common → Ancestral Unique

Now you’re not just rolling Uniques. You’re rolling endgame Uniques!

The Horadric Cube gives players more control over loot , and this is one of the most efficient uses of it.

You’re effectively printing Unique attempts using dust.
