Datamined Necromancer Changes Coming in Vessel of Hatred

We’ve prepared an overview of all Necromancer changes coming in the Vessel of Hatred expansion!

Necromancer Aspect Changes in Patch 2.0.1

  • Aspect of Fel GluttonyYour Golem Active also causes your Golem to erupt, dealing (4% of Weapon Damage) Physical damage to surrounding enemies. Your Golem consumes Corpses to reduce its remaining Cooldown by 1 second.
  • Aspect of the Cursed AuraA dark aura surrounds You automatically Curse enemies around you you, with inflicting Decrepify and Iron Maiden. Maiden on enemies who touch it. Curses inflicted this way spread to surrounding targets every 0.3 seconds and last 4 seconds outside of the aura.
  • Phasing Poltergeist’s AspectWhen Bone Spirit explodes, it spawns 3 spirits that seek nearby enemies and deal {c_random}35%{/c.} of its damage. This effect can only occur once per cast.
  • Reaping Lotus’ AspectSever no longer returns and instead splits into 3 specters that expand out and back from its apex. Sever deals 110% of normal damage.
  • Tidal Aspect — Blood Wave fires two additional waves, each dealing 35% less 115% of normal damage damage. than the previous.

Necromancer Skill Changes in Patch 2.0.1

  • Acolyte’s Reap — Reap forms a Corpse under the first enemy hit. Can only occur every 4 5 seconds.
  • Affliction — Enemies affected by Vulnerable, Crowd Control, or Shadow Damage over Time are Afflicted, taking 15% increased damage from you and your Minions. Your Curse Skills deal 80% Shadow damage when applied to Afflicted enemies. This amount increases by 30% of your Damage to Crowd Controlled, Vulnerable Damage, and Shadow Damage over Time bonuses combined.
  • Blighted Corpse Tendrils — Corpse Tendrils has a 35% 30% chance to drop a Blood Orb when damaging enemies.
  • Blood Lance — Essence Cost: 15 Lucky Hit Chance: 50% Throw a blood lance that lingers in an enemy for 3 seconds, dealing 80% damage to the enemy and all other lanced enemies. Blood Lance pierces through enemies who are currently lanced, dealing 10% reduced damage to subsequent enemies after the first.
  • Blood Surge — Essence Cost: 30 Lucky Hit Chance: 20% 12% Draw blood from enemies, dealing 20% damage, and expel a blood nova, dealing 70% damage. Blood Surge’s nova damage is increased by 5% per enemy drained, up to 50%.
  • Bone Splinters — Generate Essence: 7 6 Lucky Hit Chance: 30% Fire 3 splinters of bone, dealing 9% 8% damage each. Each subsequent time an enemy is hit by the same cast of Bone Splinters, you gain 1 Essence.
  • Death’s Approach — You gain 4% 5% Movement Speed.
  • Enhanced Blight — Blight’s radius is increased, and the defiled area Slows enemies by 25% 15%.
  • Enhanced Blood Lance — After casting Blood Lance 8 times, your next cast of Blood Lance is guaranteed to pierce through enemies who are currently lanced, dealing 10% reduced damage to subsequent enemies after the first. Overpower damage spawns a Blood Orb under the first enemy hit.
  • FinalityYou deal 5% increased damage for 8 seconds after casting an Ultimate Skill.
  • Hemorrhage — Generate Essence: 9 8 Lucky Hit Chance: 50% Burst an enemy’s blood, dealing 27% 25% damage. Hemorrhage has a 20% chance to form a Blood Orb.
  • Necrotic FortitudeLucky Hit: Up to a 5% chance to grant yourself a Barrier for 5% of your Maximum Life for 6 seconds.
  • Paranormal Blight — Blight has a 30% chance to Immobilize enemies for 2.5 seconds on impact.
  • Precision DecayYour Lucky Hit Chance is increased by 5%.
  • Prime Blood WaveCasting Blood Wave Slows enemies by 50% and grants 20% Damage Reduction for 4–10 seconds.
  • Prime SoulriftEnemies with their souls absorbed become Vulnerable for 2 seconds. When damaging enemies affected by Soulrift, you have a 5% chance to absorb their soul.
  • Rathma’s Vigor — After being Healthy for 12 15 seconds, your next Blood Skill Overpowers. This timer is reduced by 2 seconds each time Blood Orbs Heal or Overheal you for 796000% Life.
  • Reap — Generate Essence: 4 per enemy hit Lucky Hit Chance: 30% Sweep an ethereal scythe in front of you, dealing 13% 12% damage. Hitting an enemy with Reap increases your Damage Reduction by 15% for 2 seconds.
  • Soulrift — Cooldown: 50 seconds Lucky Hit Chance: 20% For 8 seconds, you corrupt surrounding enemies, dealing 520% damage per second. Every 0.25 seconds of this duration, you absorb the souls of up to 3 enemies, gaining 2 Essence and a Barrier for 2% of your Maximum Life for 5 seconds. You absorb 3 souls at a time from Bosses.
  • Spiked Armor — Gain 796 0 Thorns and 5% additional Armor.
  • Supernatural Blood LanceAfter casting Blood Lance deals 15% increased Critical Strike Damage and 15% increased damage.
  • Supreme Blood Wave — Blood Wave leaves behind 3 6 Blood Orbs as it travels.
  • Supreme SoulriftEvery soul absorbed increases your damage by 1%, up to 30%. This bonus persists for 5 seconds after Soulrift ends.
  • Titan’s FallWhile Fortified, you deal 6% increased damage to Elites.
  • Transfusion — Lucky Hit: Your Blood Skills have up to a 3% chance to create a Blood Orb at the target’s location. This can only occur once every 4 2 seconds. This chance is doubled against Bosses.
