Adam Fletcher Leaves Blizzard and the Diablo 4 Team

In a heartfelt post shared on Twitter/X, Adam “PezRadar” Fletcher revealed that he will be leaving Blizzard Entertainment on November 19. Fletcher, who was the Director of Social & Content Marketing for the Diablo franchise, has been one of the most recognizable public figures around Diablo IV since its launch.

An Important Voice

During his time with Blizzard, Fletcher became a major bridge between developers and players, always leading Diablo IV’s community updates, livestreams, and patch discussions. For a lot of players, he was the front face of Diablo IV!

The opportunity to lead Community on the franchise that defined so much of what I would do in my career was a dream come true,” he added, thanking fans for their feedback, late-night messages, and ongoing passion.

Leaving Before a Big Year for Diablo

Fletcher’s departure comes just as Blizzard prepares for an important period, with Diablo IV’s upcoming changes, a potential expansion dropping soon, and the Diablo franchise’s 30th anniversary approaching in 2026.

He hinted that “Diablo has a ton coming up” and that he is excited to experience it “as a fan from the sidelines.”

What Is Next for Pezradar?

Fletcher did not specify his next move, but he confirmed that “something new is on the horizon“, so we might be seeing him soon on another game!

The Diablo teams will continue to operate as usual, making sure that player feedback still reaches the development team, and the important information reaches players! There are no details yet on who will take over Fletcher’s position, but the community will welcome them with open arms for sure!

Is Blizzard Changing?

Fletcher’s departure adds to the long list of people who have left Blizzard in the past year, and a lot of players are wondering what it means for Diablo IV, and Blizzard overall.

One thing is sure, Fletcher will be missed by a lot of players on Diablo IV, and we wish him all the best for his future plans!
