We’ve previously dug up all the mount-related item cosmetic drops and now it’s time to put them all in one place! You can check out everything related to the main mode of overworld transport in Diablo 4 right here.
A Heads Up
First things first, if you haven’t checked your stables in a while, make sure to do so. Some of these are achievement-based and you may have missed when you got them during pla. You might actually already have one or two you didn’t know about!
Mounts
We’re starting with the mounts themselves and also have a full guide you can check out here if you prefer a text/image-based look. And here’s the video showcasing them and their locations, from Legion events to random drops in each individual zone, the Echo of Lilith herself, and more.
Mount Armors
The armors aren’t all just drops from various sources, as you can also get some from achievements like exploring the whole map, just playing Ancestral level Nightmare Dungeons in a party and such (with some easier than others – good luck with the 5 chars to level 50 Hardcore). There are drops as well, of course, like from World Bosses, the Tree of Whispers caches, monsters in specific zones (even specifically during Helltides), and more, as well as the PvP vendor armors.
Also to note, some of the specific drop locations listed below aren’t complete, as a lot of them might also drop from Treasure Goblins in addition to the location listed (like the Brigandine Barding for example).
Mount Trophies
Interestingly, the trophies are much more focused on achievements, either long-term ones or difficult to achieve ones, with a smaller number coming from just random drops, unlike what we’ve seen from the mounts and armors above.
The easy ones include:
- Fallen Shaman trophy from killing all World Bosses
- Elemental heart from killing all the rare Elite mobs in the open world (a list of which you can find here)
- Strongbox from collecting all Altars of Lilith (but this one is definitely time-consuming)
Then there’s those that we’ll sort of just get by default over time:
- Tome from doing 300 events with mastery
- Skull from getting 100 Paragon nodes
- Healing well-looking one from upgrading all potions
There’s also trophies representing the World Bosses, bandits, beasts and fallen that drop from those groups. There’s even a few that drop from Helltides in general, one from the Tree of Whispers caches, and of course from the PvP vendor.
And finally there’s one most of us will never get – the staff from defeating the Echo of Lilith pinnacle boss… in Hardcore mode. There’s plenty more than the ones listed above, so let’s take a look!
