Many players had expressed concern that the amount of loot that’s dropping in Season of Blood, as well as the power of certain builds may be too much and that Blizzard might nerf it all. Luckily, we now have an official comment putting those concerns at ease!
Game Director Joe Shely commented on the matter. He very explicitly stated that there are no plans for nerfs coming our way:
Concerns arose due to the somewhat disastrous pre-Season 1 patch 1.1 which nerfed many classes, XP and more. Blizzard have very much gone in the opposite direction since then, as almost everything in the game has been buffed, both during Season 1 and especially now in Season 2.
