Players are finally getting some details about what’s coming in Diablo 4 Season 14. Along with Solo Self-Found, Mythic Uniques, & the return of the Realmwalker, there’s also a new Seasonal Lair Boss & monster family coming soon.
New Seasonal Lair Boss In Season 14
A new Seasonal Lair Boss will be available in Season 14! Players can find the Corrupted Reaper Lair Boss in Pandemonium Threshold’s entrance in Zarbinzet. During the new season, the ability to fight the boss will become available through the Season Campaign.
This boss requires a Greater Lair Boss key to open the rewards cache, which you can farm through Deathtoll Chambers. It will also give the best direct drop chances for both Mythic Uniques and Mythic Unique Upgrade currency than any other activity.
However, during the PTR (which will be available starting next week on June 2nd), you will be able to face this boss once you have reached Torment I or higher.
New Monster Family: The Risen
This season is also introducing a new monster family: The Risen. Gravehounds, members of the new Risen monster family, now appear out of Ruptures and inside the Deathtoll Chamber. When killed, Gravehounds drop orbs that empower the Exarch, a special Risen that absorbs any Orbs that float toward it. Intercept them before they arrive to claim the power yourself.
Currently, it isn’t clear if this new monster family will stick around for later seasons since they are heavily tied to the Pandemonium Ruptures being torn open during Season 14. But having more monsters to slay is always a welcome addition.
