Have you recently noticed a sudden drop in your cinder rates? The root of the issue may surprise you!
Reddit user PKGOThrowaway pointed out a glitch tied to cinder rates drops in Helltides in Diablo 4 Season 2.
If you use the Town Portal or join a Helltide after some gameplay, you might find yourself in a Helltide that hasn’t loaded its signature red environment.
As seen in the above image, the glitched environment appears quite normal. What’s more, the cinder drops in this faulty setting seem to be much less.
How to Fix Low Cinders Drop in Diablo 4 Season 2?
When you experience the bug, port back to the nearest Helltide waypoint, relog, and re-enter. This should get the red environment back in place. The same user reported farming over 300 cinders in just 15 minutes with the workaround!
Next time you see a surprisingly low cinder count and an “oddly normal environment for a Helltide”, remember this simple trick!
