Diablo 4’s upcoming Season 5 will bring an exciting change to the game: the possibility to re-summon bosses without having to leave the dungeon, reset, and go back in!
You can already test the function on the PTR if you are playing on PC via the Battle.net Launcher. After defeating a boss, you can directly use the required materials to re-summon the boss without ever leaving the dungeon!
However, as user nfoote on Reddit mentioned, Duriel’s bodies don’t seem to disappear between summons, so you could end up totally buried beneath a pile of Duriel corpses!
Of course, we don’t know if this is just a PTR bug or if the bodies will stay the same throughout Season 5, but it would be funny if Necromancers could use all of those Duriel bodies to their advantage. However, it is more likely just not working as intended.
