During the content creator roundtable at Blizzard HQ, the developers outlined some changes coming to Uniques Season 5. Please note this list is incomplete and we’ll need to wait for the official patch notes to see everything. These changes were taken from Rob’s Season 5 cheatsheet and DonTheCrown’s sheet.
Blizzard’s Philosophy on Uniques in Season 5
- All Uniques are getting their Affixes reworked with buffs across the board and more useful stats.
- The goal is for builds to use 2-4 Uniques.
- Build-defining uniques should be Best-in-Slot for their build
General Unique Changes in Season 5
The affixes have been reworked:
- 8% Lucky Hit
- 10.5-15% Attack Speed
- 142.5-182.1% Fire & Cold damage
- Lucky Hit 40% to deal 2,000-4,000 Fire damage
- Lucky Hit 40% to deal 2,000-4,000 Cold damage
- Lucky Hit 20-60% Chance to Freeze enemies for 3 seconds
The affixes have been reworked:
- Attacks reduce Evade Cooldown by 2.5 seconds
- Evade grants 30% Main Stat for 1.5 seconds
- 12.5-18% Main Stat
- 219-300% Ultimate damage
- 46.5-60% Light Resistance
- 8-12.5% Damage Reduction from Close Enemies
- Unique affix unchanged
The affixes have been reworked:
- 0.1-8.7% Attack Speed
- 0.1-8.7% Crit Chance
- 1-51.8% Lucky Hit Chance
- Lucky Hit: Up to 1-51.8% Chance to Apply a Random CC effect for 2 seconds.
- Unique affix unchanged
Barbarian Unique Changes in Season 5
- Implicit changed to 130% Vulnerable Damage
- 198-270 Strength
- 406-550% Damage to Bleeding
- 52-70% Enhanced Rupture Explosion Size
- 16-25% Rupture CDR
- Unclear if Unique Affix flat damage changed.
- 6-8% Crit Chance
- 8-12.5% DR from Close
- 2-3 Frenzy
- 4-6 Duelist
- Unique Affix increased from 35-45% to 35-55%
- Implicit changed to Evade Grants 10% Attack Speed for 3 seconds
- 12.5-18% Movement Speed
- 5-7% Movement Speed per Walking Arsenal Bonus
- 82.5-105% Damage to Stunned Enemies
- 46.5-60% Ground Stomp Size
- Fury Gain changed to 50-100
- Cooldown changed to 10 seconds
Druid Unique Changes in Season 5
- 80-100% Critical Strike Damage
- 207-270% Damage to Close Enemies
- Storm Strike Chains to 2 Targets
- +2-4 to Basic Skills
- Unique Affix increased to 120-200% from 120-150%.

- 10.5-15% Werewolf Attack Speed
- 13-17.5% to Lupine Ferocity’s Damage Bonus
- 4-5 to Digitigrade Gait
- Unique Affix changed from +3 to +2.5

- Implicit changed: 130% Damage to CC

Necromancer Unique Changes in Season 5
- 957-1259 Life
- 103.5-135% Damage for 4 Seconds after picking up a Blood Orb
- Blood Orbs restore +8-12 Essence
- +2-3 to Bone Spirit
- Unique affix changed from 10-5 to 10-3 (buff)
- 8-12.5% Lucky Hit Chance
- 26-35% Corpse Attack Speed
- Corpse Explosion Fears and Slows for 0.5 Seconds [0.4-0.6]
- +2-4 to Corpse Explosion
- Unique affix buffed to 30-50% (up from 30-40%)
- Implicit changed: Thorns Removed | 12.6% Total Armor added

- 26-35% Bone Storm Duration
- 6-8% CDR

Sorcerer Affix Changes in Season 5
- Implicit changed to 170% Lightning Damage
- 252-360 Intelligence
- 57-75% Chance for Charged Bolts to Cast Twice
- 27-45% Resource Cost Reduction
- 4-6 to Charged Bolts
- Unique effect increased from 40-60% to 40-80%
Fractured Winterglass
- Implicit changed to 25% All Res
- 57-75% Non-Physical Damage
- 13-17.5% Chance to cast Frozen Orb twice
- Conjuration CD’s are reduced by 0.1-0.3 seconds when a Frozen Orb explodes
- 3-4 Conjuration Mastery
- Unique Effect % number 1 – 35-65% (up from 35-50%), % number 2 – 50-90% (up from 50-70%)
- 10% All Res / 10% Cold Res implicit
- 9-11% Critical Strike Chance
- 129-170% Cold Damage
- 251-350% Ice Spike Damage
- 26-35% chance for Ice Spikes to explode twice
- Unique effect: 2206-4412 Cold Damage
