The Infernal Hordes is probably the best addition to Diablo 4 since its launch. Basically everyone loves the new activity, the rewards are extremely generous and, most importantly, it’s fun! Well, if you can progress through it properly, that is.
We’re seeing more and more reports of players getting stuck in Hordes, as the event just doesn’t spawn in whatever remaining enemies are missing from a wave.
From the reports we’re seeing, it seems this is specifically linked to local aka couch co-op. Some are saying it’s almost every run that’s affected, while others put the numbers around 20-30%.
A lot of the issues are focused around the final wave. Either the doors to the Council don’t open, or the Council itself just doesn’t spawn in.
Unfortunately there was no mention of a fix for this in the patch notes for this week’s patch 1.5.1 either. No matter how frequent this issue is, hopefully Blizzard can fix it soon, as Diablo 4 really is one of the best games for couch co-op.
