During the seasonal campaign in Season 15, players are given a choice between Diablo’s, Mephisto’s, or Baal’s Splinter of Evil. These Splinters give different powers and also affect the War Plan nodes of different activities. Choosing the best Splinter of Evil for your preferred leveling method can help tremendously.
Splinter of Destruction and The Undercity
Baal’s Splinter of Destruction at rank 4 modifies the Jade Epiphany node in the Undercity War Plan:
This increases the amount of Experience Orbs dropped when you gain an Attunement level in the Undercity by 50%. Experience Orbs in the Undercity were also buffed recently, making this an excellent strategy for leveling.
Runeword Crafting for an Early Power Boost
During the seasonal campaign, players are given a common-quality Chest Armor piece, a Tal rune, and an Eth rune.
By utilizing the newly added Runeword Crafting system, players can combine these in the Horadric Cube to craft the Stealth Unique Chest Armor for an early power boost.
The chest armor is particularly strong for leveling as it grants:
- Maximum Life
- Resource Generation
- Attack Speed
- Movement Speed
- Damage Reduction
- Impairment Reduction
