And there it is! A group of three was planning to claim the World First level 100. They synced their experience and Leguan, Vega and Xegly wanted to get to 100 basically at the same time, but Leguan getting there first. We’re working from the data we have, from D4armory, but it does not cover all players. And so it is possible there are some out there that finished sooner but we don’t know about them.
However, for all we know, this is the moment the first softcore maximum level character in Season of the Malignant, a Necromancer, arrived. Less than a day and a half from the season launch, with around 1 day and 7 hours played on each of the three players, they repeatedly did Sarat’s Lair at tier 46 at the end with Bone Spear and Pulverize builds.
Vega was in the lead for a long time, but stepped out of the group at around level 99 and a half. Then after that, Leguan waited around town a little as well, as the group synchronized their XP a few times to ding 100 together! Their plan was to use the end of dungeon XP to get them across the finish line together (since it’s a big chunk), but fell juuust shy of it and had to do one more run after and discuss just how to all get to 100 at the same time. Unfortunately for their plans, Leguan managed to get there first!
