Players are really pushing the limit in Hordes as we’ve officially broken through the 1.7K Barrier!
Waltz_Prestigious took down a run and got a crazy amount of Aether at the end, and it was incredibly rounded as well, coming in at exactly 1700!
As they explain, the run was “a fluke”, with some near-perfect picks for the waves. The build was Evade Speed Farm Spiritborn, and here’s some more comments on the run and what exactly spawned.
“It was a fluke. I got hellborne on round 1, then hellfire, hellfire hellborne, then surging hellborne, hellborne damage, and another surging hellborne.
Happened today and had to take a picture as most rounds this season have been lackluster and I’ve done a LOT of hordes. I ended up doing a couple counsel picks as to not mess with the hellborne rotation that was happening (spires, masses, etc). Oddly enough, this entire event happened without the spawn events 50% faster as well!” – Waltz_Prestigious
So, there’s room to go even further with the faster event spawn option! Let’s see how high we can get in future seasons. Is 2K+ possible?
