Original Post:

Today’s Campfire Chat revealed a LOT, from leveling to difficulty changes, new class features and more! But one of the biggest announcements was two additions to the most powerful items in the game! There’s also a new tidbit, as the new Runeword system will also be relate to Mythic Uniques – you’ll be able to craft Mythics using Runewords!

We have a Chest piece and a Helm coming and they’re pretty exciting!

Shroud of False Death

The first, Shroud of False Death, grants Stealth and 40% movement speed if you haven’t attacked in 2 seconds. A regular affix on it also gives you a big damage boost when attacking from stealth. This Mythic grants classes that aren’t Rogue and Druid Stealth, which is pretty useful for disengaging and generally controlling combat a bit better. The resource generation bonus isn’t too bad either!

And last but not least, the +1 to ALL passive skills is pretty crazy on its own!

Heir of Perdition

The Helm is also very powerful, as it should be. It’s also a little competitive. So, first off, you gain a 60% “Lilith’s Favor” damage bonus when killing enemies. Easy enough to get. However, if you’re playing in a group, you might steal the buff from another player, adding their bonus to yours! That’s right, you will now get 120% increased damage!

But that’s not all, there’s also a bonus to all Core skills, a beefy extra 200% damage to Angels and Demons (which is a whole lot of monsters), on top of the 20% movement and Lucky Hit Chance.

Some pretty damn impressive items! We can’t wait for October 8th to see them arrive!
